Free high-speed Wi-Fi for up to six devices, free self-parking, the fitness room, pool access with towels and chairs, local and toll-free calls, and bag storage before and after your stay. These are covered by the $34 nightly resort fee, which we show in your total before you book rather than at the desk when you arrive.

Small, honest rooms with the original brick exposed and a genuine claw-foot tub. The windows are old and rattle a bit in a wind, which we have decided is charm.

On the hill side of the building, looking up the gulch to the pines. Quieter than the Main Street rooms and better in summer.

A deep bay window with a bench in it, over the busiest stretch of Main. Loud on Saturdays and worth it.

The old manager's apartment, complete with the assay safe built into the wall. It no longer opens, which is probably for the best.

Under the roof with the original beams, a gable window twelve feet across and a clawfoot tub positioned squarely in front of it.
